Site Visit Summary

April 4th (Tues.) is at Boston University's Photonics Building, 8 St. Mary's St.
This is the day when industry and student participation is most important. The morning includes an overview of CenSSIS plus a plenary session on breast cancer imaging.

The afternoon includes Industrial/Government Collaboration sessions and an Education Program session with CenSSIS Student Leadership Council members from BU, NU, RPI, & UPRM.

A substantial session in the afternoon is devoted to posters and demonstrations. In the late afternoon, there will be an opportunity for students to network with industrial representatives.

April 5th (Wed.) is at Northeastern University's Egan Research Center, 120 Forsyth St.
This day will feature an in-depth view of the Center's research projects, culminating in an afternoon plenary session on remote monitoring of coral reef and other marine habitats. Other highlights include a visit to the Keck 3-D Fusion Microscope and the High Tech Tools and Toys Lab. All registrants are invited to attend the first two days of the site visit.

April 6th (Thursday) is the final day of the Site Visit. During the morning, the NSF Site Visit Team meets with University Administrators from BU, NU, RPI & UPRM and with the CenSSIS Leadership Team. The NSF Site Visit Team then goes into a closed session for the remainder of the day to write its Year 6 Site Visit Report.
