Programs Of Study
There are two graduate-level programs available through the Gordon Engineering Leadership Program – the certificate program and the master’s program.

Students who satisfactorily complete both semesters of Engineering Leadership and Scientific Foundations of Engineering, and a Challenge Project will earn a Graduate Certificate in Engineering Leadership. These courses are typically offered Monday and Wednesday at 8 AM to minimize conflicts with other electives, and provide flexibility with employer commitments.
Students that take four graduate electives within the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, in addition to the certificate requirements will be awarded a Masters of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering Leadership. These electives can be completed over the course of two years if needed.
MS degrees in other engineering departments can also be earned by taking course work in addition to the Certificate in Engineering Leadership, as specified by department criteria – see www.coe.neu.edu for more information on other departments.
