Application Process

Program Timeline

NOTE: Qualified applicants are still encouraged to apply past the stated deadline of January 31st and such applications will be considered on a case by case basis.

To apply to the Gordon Engineering Leadership Program, you must complete:

  1. An application to the Northeastern University College of Engineering Graduate School (available at www.coe.neu.edu/gse). Please indicate your interest in the Gordon Engineering Leadership Program on that form. Pay careful attention to the additional materials required for a complete application to the College of Engineering.
  2. Application for Admission to the Gordon Engineering Leadership Program. Download .PDF
  3. Sections 1 and 2 of the Nomination Form. Once these sections are complete, send the Nomination Form to the "Candidate Sponsor" (the individual whose name you write in the top half of Section 2 of this application). If your Candidate Sponsor is your Challenge Project Sponsor as well, you must also provide the Sponsor with your Challenge Project description. Download .PDF

Industry/Government Sponsorship

Each student admitted into the program will need to be sponsored by either industry or through the Bernard M. Gordon Center for Subsurface Sensing and Imaging Systems. The sponsors will work with the candidate and the Center to define the scope of the challenge project. This definition can take place as part of the application process and the development of a sponsorship agreement. Please contact John Beaty, Stephen McKnight, or Michael Silevitch at the Gordon Engineering leadership Program if you have any questions about sponsorship.
