- The CenSSIS K-12 program has been
designed and implemented in partnership with the Center for STEM Education http://www.stem.neu.edu/ . The
K-12 Education Outreach program involves teachers and their students
in a variety of activities. Developmentally appropriate activities
have been selected for each target population with an emphasis on fostering
an interest in science and engineering before high school. This
is important because children begin to make decisions on what they will
study in high school and college in middle school.
